Ideal weight for 210 cm

Ideal Weight Calculator - Metric System

centimeters (cm)

 Your healthy or ideal weight:

  • Your ideal weight should be between 81.6 and 109.8 kilograms (kg).
  • The average ideal weight should be 94.7 kilograms (kg).

These values apply for a 25 years old 210 centimeters (cm) or 2.10 meter (m) tall woman. Please, see detailed information below.

This calculator computes appropriately your ideal or healthy weight based on BMI information[1]. It also shows results using other (outdated) methods. This calculator applies to adults, men or women. For children and teens (ages 2–19), weight status is assessed using BMI-for-age percentiles, not the adult ranges shown here.

Healthy weight for 210 cm

For adults who are 210 cm tall, a healthy weight (BMI 18.5–24.9) is roughly 81.6–109.8 kg (180–242 lb)[1]. The calculator above also estimates a single ideal figure using the Devine and Lorentz formulas. Note that average weight — what people of this height typically weigh — is often higher than the ideal range shown here.

Other methods to calculate IBW

There are many ways (formulas) to calculate the ideal weight. Here are other values based on other methods. Notice that the majority of websites uses one of the methods below. These formulas are somewhat outdated and should, possibly, be avoided, except in some particular cases. So, it is better to use the BMI based values above.

According to the formula of Devine (1974)

97.7 kilograms or 215.3 pounds.

Formulas:
  • Man: IBW = 50 + 2.3(h - 60)
  • Woman: IBW = 45.5 + 2.3(h - 60)
Note 1: Applied for age greater than 18 years old and height (h) between 140 and 220 cm (55 to 87 inch)
Note 2: height is in inches.

According to the formula of Lorentz (1929)

80.0 kilograms or 176.4 pounds.

Formulas:
  • For men: IBW = (h − 100) − ((h − 150)/4)
  • For women: IBW = (h − 100) − ((h − 150)/2)
Note: height (h) is in cm.

According to the formula of Lorentz (accounting for age)

66.3 kilograms or 146.1 pounds.

Formula:
  • IBW = 50 + (h - 150)/4 + (a - 20)/4
Note: height (h) is in centimeters and age (a) in years.

According to the formula of Peck's (1974)

85.7 kilograms or 189.0 pounds.

Formulas:
  • Men (older than 18 years): IBW = -130.736 + (4.064 * h)
  • Women (older than 18 years): IBW = -111.621 + (3.636 * h)
  • Boys (18 years or younger): IBW = -59.6035 + (5.2878 * h) - (0.123939 * h2) + (0.00128936 * h3)
  • Girls (18 years or younger): IBW = -77.55796 + (6.93728 * h) - (0.171703 * h2) + (0.001726 * h3)
Note: height (h) is in inches and ranges from 17 to 86 inches (45 to 220 cm)

Important note on Ideal body weight web tools

This calculator does not provide medical advice. BMI is just one of many indicators of body fatness. So, once this tool is based on BMI calculations, it has the same BMI limitations. Do not use this tool for computing ideal weight for children. Any questions about weight loss or changes to your diet should be discussed with your nutritionist or medical adviser for a more personalized estimation. Don't try to lose weight fast by yourself. If you think you are underweight, overweight, or obese, you should try our BMI Calculator. There, you will get more information about how should you weigh for your height.
